5/24/2022 6:27 AM Ahlsell Group acquires majority share in Sanistål A/S and submits a recommended offer for the remaining share
The acquisition of approximately 75.49% of the shares in Sanistål A/S from the majority owners and the simultaneously recommended public offering for the minority stake in Sanistål A/S, which was announced today, is an important step in Ahlsell’s ambition to be a comprehensive Nordic player with a complete offering also in Denmark. This is fully in line with Ahlsell’s strategy for sustainable growth.
Sanistål is a Danish distributor and value-adding sourcing partner for businesses within construction and the industrial area. The company has a turnover of 3.5 BDKK and employs 1,200 people. Geographically, Sanistål has operations in Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. The company has a large network of 48 stores, of which 34 are in Denmark. Ahlsell will continue to invest in strengthening and developing Sanistål. Ahlsell and Sanistål will together create a strong platform to provide professional customers in Denmark with an even stronger full-service offering.
