1/24/2023 11:00 AM Ahlsell strengthens its position through the acquisition of HJM Tak & Byggplåt AB
Ahlsell has signed an agreement to acquire HJM Tak och Byggplåt AB, a comprehensive supplier with the broadest range of sheet metal and roofing in western Sweden. The company has 16 employees and the net sales during 2022 amounted to SEK 160 million.
HJM offers its customers a wide range of sheet metal, roof tiles, roofing sheets, TRP roofs, gutters, downpipes, roof safety, windows and doors. The company’s head office and warehouse are located in Mölndal with another establishment in Hisings Backa.
The acquisition gives Ahlsell access to HJM’s specialist expertise and product portfolio, while Ahlsell’s broad product range, strong market presence and extensive logistics offering are made available to HJM’s customers. Together, these factors contribute to Ahlsell strengthening its total offering to all customers in the industry.
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the beginning of February 2023.
